The Amarone Thistle Restaurant specialises in a fusion of Scottish and Italian cuisine within the grounds of the Mansfield House Hotel. Our menu is updated regularly, but not so that traditional favourites disappear for long! We aim to source as much of our food locally as possible and take pride in serving high-quality, delicious dishes.
At The Amarone Thistle Restaurant freshness and quality are paramount, so our menu is always evolving. You can eat in the informal surroundings of the hotel bar or conservatory, as well as enjoying a more formal dining experience in our traditionally decorated dining room overlooking Hawick.
Our Restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 4.30pm to 8pm

Our wine list has a core offering of fairly priced, good quality wines, blending together the old and new world's favourite produce. We also offer bin-end wines from exciting regions, as well as vintage wines to ensure that no two wining and dining experiences at Mansfield House Hotel Ltd are the same. You will find our bar well stocked with over 20 malt whiskies, spirits, ales and lagers.
